I bought this to finally nail a decent old fashioned and ended up reading the whole plant section cover to cover. The 75 botanical recipes are laid out clearly enough that I've already infused two batches with stuff from my own garden.

The history sections alone are worth the price, but the 75 recipes are what keep pulling me back to the kitchen counter. Already made two different batches and the breakdown of which plants do what makes experimenting feel way less intimidating.
