Nowa nauka o psychodelikach: na styku kultury, świadomości i duchowości

I picked this up after hearing it discussed on a podcast, and the chapter tracing visionary plant use from cannabis onward genuinely reframed how I think about consciousness. It sits somewhere between cultural history and spirituality without ever getting preachy about it.

I expected another dry academic survey, but the chapter on how cannabis fits into the longer history of visionary plants actually reframed how I think about the whole field. It sits right at the intersection of culture and consciousness without getting preachy about either.

I read this cover to cover in two sittings, and the way it weaves spiritual traditions into the neuroscience of psychedelics really clicked for me. The chapter on cannabis as a visionary plant adds a fresh perspective I hadn't considered before.
