薰衣草

I've been dropping a handful of this into my evening tea and the scent alone slows my brain down before bed. The buds are mostly intact rather than crushed to dust, which makes a real difference when steeping.

I tucked a sachet under my pillow expecting the usual weak dried stuff, but this actually fills the whole bedroom with that soft, familiar lavender smell. Within twenty minutes of lying down my shoulders drop and I'm out cold.

The scent is much stronger than the grocery store kind I used before, and a small pinch in my tea about an hour before bed has become my favorite wind-down ritual. It really does help with that heavy, sleepy feeling at the end of the day.
