The leaves are dried whole and still have a bit of texture, so I can tell it's not the dusty powder I've gotten elsewhere. I've been steeping it in the evenings before I sit down to read, and the ritual alone helps me settle into a calmer, more focused headspace.

I steep a small spoonful in hot water every morning and the tea has this earthy, slightly bitter taste that grows on you. After a few weeks of this ritual I do feel more settled during my afternoon work. The pouch reseals well, which keeps the leaf from drying out.

The leaves are whole and mostly unbroken, which matters if you're steeping them rather than swallowing capsules. I've been making a cup before my morning reading and it's become a calm little ritual.
