Superfeast Eucommia-bark

I've been adding a few slices of this bark to my nightly bone broth and the ache in my knees after long hikes has noticeably eased. As a joint tonic it feels gentler than the capsules I used before, though the earthy taste takes some getting used to.

Two weeks of simmering this bark into my evening tea and my lower back doesn't ache after long days at the desk anymore. It's a bitter, earthy brew, so I add a slice of ginger, but I'll take that for how much more mobile I feel.

My knees have stopped creaking on the stairs after six weeks of simmering this bark into tea. It's bitter, so I add a spoon of honey, but the joint relief is worth the taste.
